Planning a trip next weekend November 8-10 and I'm looking for a destination. We're originating out of Tucson and will have a dog (which aren't allowed in some natural preserves, etc.). We're after beautiful Arizona vistas and a hike or two. Not too cold. Plan on staying in a motel or Airbnb. I had hopes for Chiricahua National Monument but I think we will save that for a trip without a pet and for when we can get a reservation at the DreamCatcher Inn which looks wonderful.
Two, maybe 3 hour drive. Any suggestions? Thanks for your ideas and help.
