Need help planning my dream Ayia Napa vacation! (Contest win!)
Hey everyone!
I'm so excited because I recently won an all-expenses-paid trip to Ayia Napa in July 2025! 🎉 The only catch is, I need to plan the whole thing myself. I've never been to Cyprus before, so I could really use some help from people who know the area.
Here's what I know so far:
who loves relaxing on the beach, exploring historical sites, trying new foods, experiencing nightlife, etc. I'm traveling with my woman,(so i need to be a good boy
.
I'd love to get your recommendations on:

Here's what I know so far:
- Dates: July 2025 (exact dates flexible)
- Duration: I think it's about a week long, but I can double-check.
- Included: Flights, accommodation (not sure where yet!), and some spending money.

.I'd love to get your recommendations on:
- Must-see attractions: What are the absolute best things to see and do in Ayia Napa and the surrounding area?
- Best beaches: Where should we go for beautiful beaches, water sports, and maybe a beach party or two?
- Restaurant recommendations: Any hidden gems or local favorites we should try?
- Day trip ideas: Are there any cool places to visit outside of Ayia Napa?
- Tips for July: Anything we should know about visiting Ayia Napa in July, like weather, crowds, or special events?

Aya Napa is a big tourist resort, with tons of (in July rather crowded) sandy beaches, a party mile as well as some quiet places (not only in the hinterland).
Cyprus hat a lot of historical sites, 2 big gothic cathedrals (partly in ruins) and miles of empty sandy beaches (all of them in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus).
All depends on your interests.

If your staying in Aya Napa itself, the neckervd is absolutely right. The place is party central but with a younger crowd--20's or so. The main activities are drinking and sleeping it off. If you're going to be sober enough to hire a car then visit Limassol, Larnaca, Trudos Mountains and even across to Paphos. You can also drive across into Northern Cyprus, but check with your rental company to ensure that your insurance is valid.
