Private car/driver

Hi all - I will be working in the Arusha/Moshi, TZ area in Feb, 2025 and will need to get to Kigali overland. I could fly to Kigali or take a bus, but I am wondering if there are private car hire options?

Your post is self-contradicting. "Get to Kigali overland" doesn't comport with "I could fly."

Flying is obviously your best bet. This journey would take an insane amount of time overland.

An utterly unhelpful reply. Yes, I could fly. I would like to go overland and am hoping to find options besides a bus.

Yes, I am aware that flying is the quickest option, but I would like to go overland (with full appreciation for the time/distances involved). Again, I am looking for private car options to a bus.

That is over 20 hours butts in seats -- so at minimum two+ full days in a car. And most likely you wouldn't be driving over nights so closer to three full days. I cannot imagine even attempting that.

My reply was very helpful and precisely on point. You presented three options: 1) fly, 2) bus, 3) car/driver. Your post provided no info as to what you knew or didn't know. I told you that flying is obviously the best option. You got the same answer from another poster above. Just fly and stop overthinking it.
