What were your most magical moments on Naxos and Paros?
We will be in Naxos for 5 nights and Paros for 3 nights at the end of May/beginning of June. For those who have been to each island, what are the moments that stand out in your mind — big or small, activities or scenery, hidden gems, foods, and so on? We have left lots of time to meander and discover, but I would love to hear what made the islands special for you.

We visited Naxos in May 2022. Have not been to Paros. Here is one of the most memorable moments of our trip:
We rented a car for a day to explore Naxos. Our first stop was the Temple of Demeter. Then we visited the lovely village of Chalki. Our next stop was amazing! As we were headed towards Apeiranthos, we came to a fork in the road; to the left was Apeiranthos, and to the right was a sign that said "prehistoric acropolis". We thought this sounded interesting so we took this road, a serpentine narrow road surrounded by olive groves and the Aegean Sea below. We didn't find a prehistoric acropolis but we continued to the sparkling Aegean. We ended up at the fishing village of Moutsounas located on Moutsouna Bay. It is so beautiful! There are about 3 tavernas all advertising fresh fish, of course. It was a no-brainer, we were having lunch here. We ate at Fish Net right on the water. Our table was located a few feet from the sea. We ordered fried shrimp, grilled squid, and grilled drunk fish. It was heaven! This fishing village is what we imagine when we think of Greece.
When we left we did visit Apeiranthos, and then we stopped at the small fishing village of Apollonas where we had iced coffee at a cafe on the beach. Another beautiful setting on the water.
This was one of the best days of our trip!
