Bagni di Lucca?

During my time in Tuscany in July, I'd like to get into some natural mineral waters. Have you sampled the waters in Bagni di Lucca? I know I can easily get there from Lucca by train/bus. Perhaps you've visited another natural mineral spring? I'm most interested in authentic, natural springs, rather than a spa/resort. I'd love to hear your experiences!

Here's a listing of hot springs (where you can actually bathe) in Tuscany and Bagni di Lucca is not listed among them:

[ It's funny but in Germany the "spring waters" you can buy in a bottle come from pipes in the ground, rather than than lovely pools somewhere; one "spring" source that produces two different bottled waters involves two pipes, one which goes several hundred feet lower than the other, so that they tap different aquifers; one town in Schleswig Holstein produces a pricey mineral water, and a cheap supermarket mineral water - - chemical analysis has shown that the waters are the same - - and match exactly the local tap water.]

Thanks for the response and resource. Bagni di Lucca wasn’t mentioned, as you noted, but it is fairly close to where I’ll be staying for a few nights and I may try to experience it. I’m not renting a car this trip and it seems that many of the most famous/popular sites require a car to reach. That’ll have to be for next time, I suppose. I definitely will hold on to that link, though. As for the marketing of natural waters, I live a little south of Saratoga Springs, NY and have seen the commercialization firsthand. It’s probably why I generally just drink tap water… Danke!
