Manuel Antonio trip - Tulemar or Costa Verde

We're going to MA in August. We are deciding between a smaller less expensive Tulemar place or the Penthouse in Costa Verde, which would still be cheaper. I love all the extras Tulemar has to offer (beach service, free umbrellas and chairs etc) but the view has nothing on the penthouse at Costa Verde II. Also my husband and I like wavey beaches so I don't know if there's a difference in Tulemar's beach and Espadilla Beach where that's concerned. Any insight or opinions?

Disclaimer: Haven't been to Costa Verde. But have been to Tulemar. The beach there was unimpressive. Condo was nice enough, although our unit didn't have a view.

We've stayed at Tulemar several times and love it there. It's really popular. Great service, nice beach, lots of sloths and monkeys on site. Have not stayed at Costa Verde.

I’ve stayed at the Costa Verde penthouse for one night before moving to the room we reserved. It was wonderful; however, screened in with no A/C. Idk if that has changed, but depending on your heat tolerance, it could be uncomfortable.

No where near a beach. On a hill. If they did have beach access, we weren’t informed.
