Luaus in Honolulu
We are 5 seniors looking for a Luau recommendation in Honolulu. We have 3 days prior to our cruise and would like to experience a luau or similar local barbecue. Where do the locals go? This is not our first trip to the islands. Any other suggestions for activities on those three days would be appreciated.

Probably most "locals" do not go to the commercial luaus unless they have visitors but here are some ideas of what's available:

https://chiefsluauhawaii.com/

Or if you don't mind driving to North Shore: https://www.toaluau.com/
Other things to do: Iolani Palace, Shangri La Estate, Bishop Museum, Mission Houses, Queen Emma's Summer Palace, Byodo-In Temple, Honlulu Museum of Art, Plantation Village to name a few ideas.

Thanks for the info, Suze. Another question- whats the best way to find and arrange for a driver and transportation while were on Oahu? Also, can you recommend temples or museums to visit?
