Hello! We're planning to go to East Africa for about 18days in the beginning of November. Our plan is to fly from Europe to safari, then Zanzibar for 3nights and end in Seychelles for 4nights.
It's our first safari! There's SO much info out there! We'd like to see the big5 & giraffes. So the question is Tanzania or Kenya or both? (for 10days)

Since Zanzibar is in Tanzania, that seems to be the obvious choice, but if you mean November 2021 you should check the Covid situation in both countries before deciding. On one of my trips I flew into Nairobi, then stopped at Amboseli NP in Kenya before crossing the border into Tanzania. My trip covered the northern circuit including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. You will see lots of animals year round in Ngorongoro Crater and Seronera Valley in the Serengeti, while the migratory herds follow the rains through the Serengeti and Masai Mara in Kenya, part of the Serengeti ecosystem.

I believe you've also asked this question on Trip Advisor. I would agree with what you were advised there. Due to the varying entry requirements for the pandemic in each country, it's better to cover one country in 10 days. I'd further suggest limiting it to 2-3 camps in that amount of time for the safari portion so as to get the most experience out of your time on the ground.
