Coasteering in Connemara or surfing in Sligo?

Hi! My family is doing a 10 night driving tour of Ireland in mid-August. I will have my two adventure loving teenage boys with me - 12 & 15 years old. On one of our days we are planning a drive from Letterkenny, County Donegal to our hotel in Galway. I was hoping to book some sort of adventure activity that day. I understand it is a long driving day and that is one of the reasons I wanted to have an activity along the way. One thing I was looking at was Coasteering with Real Adventures Connemara.......it has very good reviews. That would be about a 4-5 hour drive from Donegal but they do have tours that start at 2:30pm. Does anyone have any feedback about those tours or that type of activity? Our family is fairly adventurous and active (I would likely be the most scared of cliff jumping but I've heard they cater to all levels). Alternatively, we could look at something like surf lessons in Sligo. We are also spending two nights in Killarney later on our trip and could do coasteering there?
Any feedback or suggestions? I'm open to other adventure activities if anyone has any recommendations!

Thanks,
Lisa
