I'm going to be in Vietnam for a week from Feb 15-22 and will be traveling from HCM, spending 3 nights in Mekong Delta (before heading on to Phu Quoc for 2 nights). I'm struggling to identify which spots in the Mekong to hit up those few days, and especially struggling with accommodations choices. I'll either be traveling alone or with one other person. Hoping for each of these nights to cost under or around $50 USD. Not looking for traditional hotels. Would prefer a very nice upscale homestay, a boutique b&b, an overnight boat. Have 3 nights and currently exploring Ben Tre, Cai Be, Vinh Long, and Can Tho -- but open to more suggestions (just need to catch the ferry to Phu Quoc from either Rach Gia or Ha Tien the 4th day).
