Germany trip: need a van with English speaking driver
Can anybody out there recommend a car and driver(English speaking) service for an 11 day itinerary in Gemany. Pick up in Franfurt and drop off in Munich.
Thanks

Several hundreds of euros? Talk about more like thousands. That would be the rent of the van + gasoline and also the salary for the driver. And 11 days is one third of a months salary, s/he would not do it for peanuts.

I said "several hundreds per day". Costs for the car + petrol + parking fees + salary for the driver + VAT + food and accommodation for the driver.
Take the train if you don't want to drive a rental car yourself.

Jim--
I don't know the answer to your question, but it might help to have a little more info about your trip. Is this your first trip to Europe, to Germany? Have you ever driven in Europe before? Are you worried about getting lost? Do you just want to sit back and leave the driving to someone else? Which side of the road do you normally drive on? Is this a large group of people (like a small tour group), so a van is needed?
We find driving in Germany very easy. The most difficult things are navigating through the cities. While we have never used a GPS, others swear by them. If you have a good map and a person to act as a navigator, you should be okay. And, as others have mentioned, the cost of hiring a van and a drive for 11 days is going to be prohibitive.
