RIO + PARATY

need an information please ! I´m doing all necessary arrangements in order to visit Rio in January. I know that there´s a town named PARATY that has important works from the "aleijadinho", and that near Paraty, there´s a small city that also has colonial style constructions that I´dd like to visit - think that´s TIRADENTES - Need to know if this informations are correct, but most of all, and since I´m staying only 5 days in Rio, if is it possible to do a day trip to Paraty! and if that´s enough to see all the most important places. ps: you can reply in english, or in portuguese. thanks !!!

sorry...made a mistake...Tiradentes is in Minas Gerais...not near Paraty. Correct questions are : - is it possible a one day trip from Rio to Paraty. - or is it better a day trip if possible to Tiradentes. ps: se tivesse escrito isto em português não me atrapalhava todo e não fazia figura de parvo !! ps II - dá pra ir do rio a paraty num dia ? e tiradentes ? é mais longe ! será que dá pra fazer num dia ?

Rio- Paraty and vice versa: By Bus: Viação Costa Verde (0xx24 3371-1177) Rio de Janeiro x Paraty: 4:30h, 5:30h, 6:30h*, 8:30h, 11:00h, 13:45h, 16:30h, 19:30h, 22:00 Paraty x Rio de Janeiro: 3:00h, 5:30h, 9:00h, 10:30h, 13:30h, 16:30h, 17:00h*, 18:30h, 21:15h * via Barra da Tijuca Viação Normandy (0xx24 3371-1277) Rio de Janeiro x Paraty: Paraty x Rio de Janeiro: 1:00h, 10:40h Tiradentes, unfortunately, can't be made as a day trip from Rio. Is too far. In Brazil, given its continental dimension, nearly all distances are long, if you're traveling from one state to the other. If you were staying in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais capital, a day trip to Tiradentes, Vila Rica or Ouro Preto would be doable, but not from Rio. It would take 6, maybe 8 hours to get there by bus.
