cruises out of majahual?

i can't seem to find any info on cruises out of majahual. we are getting married in akumal and researching honeymoon options. does anyone know which cruise lines run out of majahual? any small cruise lines in the cancun/riveria maya area (something like the windjammer)? thanks!

I haven't heard of a small cruise visiting along Costa Maya.
Not sure that you could board a large cruise ship at a port stop...and continue to where?...don't think it's set up to hop on and off like a bus.

Have you thought about a private charter? That's probably your best option.

i have looked into private charters - i haven't found too many so far. we would really like to charter a boat for a few days. my fiance is an experienced sailor so we do not need (or want for privacy) a crew. i think i'll come up with something i'll just have to keep digging.

Have a great honeymoon, however I do not think you will be able to rent bare boat charter in that part of the world, if nothing else than from an insurance angle. Spiffy boats are not the norm there anyway although you might check and see if there is anything in Puerto Aventuras where there is a full service marina.

Have you tried contacting any fishing charters to see if they know anything?
Here's a list to get started:

And you can click onto "fishing charters" in the other towns.
