Don't know about the Westin. Went to Cabo San Lucas last summer, stayed at Hotel Finnesterra. Had a wonderful wonderful time in Cabo. The one restaurant that I really remember was the Shrimp Factory- outdoor, very nice. Lots of water activities on the Sea of Cortez bay, snorkeling was beautiful and so was waverunning and parasailing. Felt very safe. You must do a sunset cruise on the Pirate Ship. Very fun (open bar), terrific and friendly crew. There are also some great restaurants (lobster, sushi, Mexican of course on the Bay- best swimming, and beach. You can easily spend a few days here. Lover's Beach is fairly secluded(not safe for swimming), but romantic. Good nightlife is Cabo Wabo, Giggling Marlin(twenties- thirty something crowd), Squid Row(younger crowd)- all fun. If you enjoy fishing too, Los Cabos is supposedly the best in the world. We spent no time in Cabo San Jose, but will next time. Excellent shopping there. Have fun!
