Will this work?
Howdy, y'all,
Plan is to fly into CDG, arriving 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 15. Traveling with cousin, also female. Plan to take RER Blue Line (If we can figure out how to get tickets) to Gare de Nord. We are staying at Holiday Inn Gare de l'est which is, if Tripadvisor is correct, about a five block easy walk from Nord. On Monday, we need to get back to CDG and to Roissy Holiday Inn to meet up with tour. Plan is to take RER back and pick up a shuttle bus that goes to the Roissy hotels. Does anyone know where we should exit RER at CDG and where to get this shuttle? Thanks for any info.

The Holiday Inn Gare de l'Est is the grand traditional hotel directly across from the train station (I just saw that it had changed its name recently.).
As for the one at CDG, I cannot imagine that it does not have a shuttle bus visiting all of the terminals.

Thanks, Dawg. I never did find the E-mail address anywhere else. I E-mailed them last night and have had no response as yet. Was going to respond sooner, but my computer went down in the midst of last night's storms.
StCirq, are you trying to tell me to stop obsessing? FYI, I enjoy obsessing. It gives me something to do. No, really, I think I'll chill out and if I can't find the hotel bus, I'll take a cab. The question originated because I had read on a chat board approximately the bus route and that it now costs 5E. If that is the case, I would like to have the correct change. I have read on other boards that the shuttle, which as I understand goes to all the Roissy hotels not just the HI, is free. In any case, thanks to all for your help.

I don't know whether you're obsessing or not. It's just silly to me to wait around for an answer when all it would take is a phone call to get the correct information. And I wouldn't count on finding a cab at the RER, so that's not necessarily the solution to your problem.

Well, the website for the Holiday Inn CDG does indeed say that the shuttle to the airport costs 5 euros.

That doesn't mean that a hotel 100 meters away might not have a free shuttle.

Thanks, Kerouac. The English Website does not show that. StCirq, as I'll be in Paris three days before I need to return to CDG and find my way to HI Roissy, I can phone them from the HI Gare est. I don't think I would have thought of that without your prompt to call them. Sometimes it takes a village . . . and I've been to China, Russia, Egypt, etc., and still I need help.
Thanks, everyone
