Oh - we've talked about maybe doing an Ireland/Scotland/England trip later this year, but we'll see. My April trip will be a huge budget type trip (especially since it looks like a friend will be sharing the hotel bill with me!)

OR - if my sister does get married this year in the LA area, we may do Vegas, or who knows - Tokyo if we can get good airfare. Then we'd not go to Europe again this year. :)

Hmmmm, that post above mine is a tad strange.

A week from today I will be in Paris and then the following day off to a week of thalasso therapy in Dinard, Bretagne! I hope to see Mont St. Michel this time.

In May a week in Paris with my mother and sister.

In July I will be going to the US for my 35th high school reunion.

In November my husband and I will go back to the US for a family wedding near Los Angeles.

And of course lots of little trips here and there in between....
And then we will take lots

Feb--Florida, to see Mom
March--Vienna, as usual, and then...Dresden? Not sure yet
May-June--back to Belgium for several weeks, I guess
September--trip with the "girls" (all women in their 40s) to Las Vegas. Really looking forward to this one.
October--DH and I celebrate our 20th anniversary, so probably Germany...maybe Baden-Baden and southern Black Forest or Salzburg/Vienna. Or maybe even Lake Lugano in Switzerland...still in early planning stages
November--Chicago

DH will be off to Oregon sometime this year as well. Unfortunately, we can't go together as somebody has to stay home to watch the cocker. Haven't found any petsitters we really trust yet.

Rome, I hope. Had to cancel my scheduled trip to Rome last month when a windstorm knocked out power and put a tree on our house.

If Rome's too expensive to get to, maybe London or Amsterdam instead.

Keren Jan 18th, 2007 01:36 AM

Very unclear at the moment, I'll know better in March, but probably 9-10 days in late April, to Genova and someplace else (Lucca? Rome? Paris?).

I plan to go to Venice in September or October, probably for 5-7 days. I still don't know whether I'll it with another destination.

May/June: trip with best friend to...

Lake District (Windermere)
Edinburgh
London
County Kerry
County Clare

It's my first major "adult" trip where I've done all the planning. So very excited!

Also, probably a visit to the tourist hotspot of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. : )

rache2005 Jan 18th, 2007 01:19 PM

I've been to Gatlinburg Tenn, when I was in high school my dad was breifly transfered to Nashville, we lived in Symrna, and on the weekedns would take drives around the area and on of those drives we went to Gatlinburgh. Nothing against Tenn, but I can't say I really enjoyed it that much, but its prolly cause I was 16 when we mived there and did not want to go in the first place and you know we are when we are teenagers. I remember at our school when my mom was registering us me and my sister asked about Drill Team and the next thing we knew we were on the the ROTC marching rifle squad or something like that. Needless to say we did not stay.

Anyway, oh but tennesse is very pretty though.
