Concessions means those eligible for a discount.
Usually: Students (those in full time education), OAPs (senior citizens), sometimes those in receipt of State Benefits (Uneplyment Benefit etc.)

AA batteries are widely available: supermarkets, electrical outlets, newsagents, photographic stores etc. You'll have no bother getting them whilst here.

Have a good trip!

Dominic

We found that in London it was easy to get our kids a student discount. We had them bring their school ID cards. But in Paris they only gave student discounts if you were a student in an EU country. They do still give discounts for younger kids. At the Louvre it said they give free admission to students & the unemployed. My son is an unemployed college student (with ID) but they said no go.

As for batteries, we brought our own along. Things are usually much more expensive overseas & they weigh almost nothing & take up very little space.
