virus?

Is anyone familiar with a computer virus called sulfnbk.exe ? Or is the chain letter telling us to delete that file a hoax?

It's not -- except that thgis is a place where good advice may be available of many topics .

That virus *is* a hoax. If you have deleted the file just copy it from someone else's computer. From what I was told, that file is the one that allows windows to recignize longer file names.

Symantec Security Response encourages you to ignore any messages regarding this hoax. It is harmless and is intended only to cause unwarranted concern.
