Can we store luggage at the train station in Venice?
Hi...
If we arrive (by train from Padova) in Venice midday to catch the night train to Vienna, do they have lockers at the train station while we walk around a bit?
We'll have two roller carry-ons (~21-inches each) and a couple of really small pocket-book-sized bags.
Thanks.

No ockers, but there is a Deposito Baggagli/Left Luggage, a guarded luggage storage room for which ou pay a per-bag fee.

leave plenty of time IME for retrieving bags before your scheduled train in such Italian luggage storage - often I have seen long lines for retrievals and very slow-moving or absent clerks shuffling around at a snail's pace. Price IME usually goes up after six hours or so.

I've used the left luggage facility at Venice station. Turn left at the end of the platform then left again past all the platforms. There was no one else the day I dropped then retrieved my bag unlike Rome where the line can go for miles. So you may get lucky as I did.
