Venice Airport transport
I've been looking for the best way to get from Marco Polo Airport into Venice (S.Marco stop) and have a new question. Has anyone had any experience with the 'new' Airport Link IN shared transfer? I found it on the VeniceLink.com website which sells the Alilaguna tickets online. It sounds like a private water taxi where you are organised into a group of 2-8 people, each paying 29euro for a quicker trip (30mins as opposed to 1hr15) into San Marco. They stop at some hotels and close to others. Any feedback good or bad?
Thanks

I have not used the shared service but have friends who did use it. They said that if you don't mind riding along as others are dropped off, it is a great deal. Although, there is the chance that you could be the first dropped off. If your hotel does not have a boat dock, it will drop you at the nearest vaporetto stop to your hotel. It's fast and comfortable. No bad feedback.

We used VeniceLink's private water taxi in Sept to get from the airport to our apartment. We were a group of 8 so it wasn't a shared transfer, just us. It was well worth the money; since we had my senior citizen parents as well as my children in our group, getting there quickly, easily and comfortably was important. Plus it's a wonderful way to arrive! The VeniceLink booth was easy to find in the airport and then we walked to our water taxi, which was there waiting for us.
Have a wonderful trip!

There has been a previous discussion on this in the last couple of days.
