I am an AOL user and was having trouble posting until I deleted my Cookies. Click on "Start" bottom left. Then click on "run", when that window comes up, type in "coolies" When all your cookies come up highlight and delete them all except "index" Then turn off your computer and reboot. Worked for me!

That is probably why you are having trouble. I forget to delete mine also and then have tons to get of. You can highlight all of them (except not "index". you have to keep that one)Anyway, just hold on your mouse left click and move down until they are all highlighted then hit Delete. It will remove all that are highlighted.

We use Internet Explorer. Deleting cookies is easy. All you have to do is Right click on the Internet Explorer icon, then click PROPERTIES. A small gray window will open up....there will be three sections in that small gray window. The middle sections will say TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. Click on DELETE COOKIES and then click OK.
As far as I know, that's the easiest way to do it. If I've been doing it wrong for the last 3 years, someone let me know!

Meant to specify.... on the gray window that opens when you click on PROPERTIES, there are several tabbed sections. The one that should be on top, the first tabbed section, should have three sections on it that say HOME PAGE, TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES and HISTORY. The middle section on that first tab, the TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES section, is the one you want.
As I said, though....if I've been doing it the wrong way all this time, someone let me know!

well, it's working on this computer, but not mine! I think Christina must be right about AOL. Think I'll get rid of them, but need to figure out what to replace them with. Thanks to everybody for all the help.

Yea!! It worked! Maybe the shutdown computer just needed a little more time.
This is really something. One thing I learned from all this is to get rid of cookies (whatever they are). Anyway, I love this forum - everyone is so helpful.
