They do their own, have yoiu asked for a price?

Istanbul is easily accessible by air and is served by a number of major airlines through Istanbul Atatürk International Airport, 20 minutes (20 kilometres/13 miles) from the Hotel. Taxi service is readily available at the airport, and the Hotel offers limousine service to and from the airport. Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet is located near the city centre and is convenient to all major highways.
Services provided by the Hotel

Transfers are available between Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet and Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus. Please ask the Concierge for information. A fee applies.

The Hotel offers a luxury car service for a fee. For more information, please ask the Concierge.

Thanks for getting back to me. The Four Seasons livery is bunch of bunk!!! Way too expensive.
This is what they quoted me!!!

Ataturk International Airport

Luxury Sedan €130 +Vat(18%)
Mercedes minivan(4 pax) €250 +Vat(18%)
Mercedes Sprinter(10 pax) €300 +Vat(18%)

I would just like to have a safe livery service waiting for me with a price already fixed.
Any other thoughts?

We have used Prime Class services in the past and sere satisfied with them. They are owned by the company which builds and manages many international airports worldwide and some of the larger ones in Turkey, including IST.

They can meet you at the gate, assist with visa and passport control and luggage collection and then transfer you if you wish and priovide ssimilar services at departure.

I just checked their rates which seemed very reasonable, at ;

Currently we use Back Up which seems to be an only for members service. (We have had 16 transfers so far this year without a hitch and even received a full medical check up each, myself, wife and daughter, all for about $2000 annual membership fee plus an additional $1000 for some extra osteoporosis tests.) I do not know why I wrote about the medical tests. -

Four Seasons, Bosphorus is a lovely hotel as long as you get a seaside room. Otherwise, it is not worth the cost.
Walk to your left, cross at traffic lights and then cross the boulevard to your left again and enter the pedestrian only streets for the great authentic very local Besiktas Market area. Try the simple but excellent Sinop Manti restaurant (a type of ravioli) which you will not find anywhere else in istanbul. Get some white cheese, (vacuum packed) from the Itimat shop in that area to take back with you. They will also vacuum pack cracked brownish green olives which are better than anything you can get in the States. The century old bakery next door to the Itimat dairy shop may also be interesting for you.

My first trip to Istanbul and not wanting to take any chances so I accepted the hotel's offer to have a car waiting for me at the airport and take me to the hotel (in the Taksim district). Charge was 90 euros but I had no reference and didn't know how that compared to a taxi. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

For the return trip, I went outside the hotel and asked a taxi how much to go to the airport and he said 20 euros more or less, depending on traffic. It turned out to be 20 euros. I was very upset at the hotel for encouraging me to spend 90 euros for their car service. That's a tidy profit I'd say.

When you leave the airport, you'll see where the taxis are waiting. I can't recall if there is a taxi coordinator or not, but let the taxi know where you're going and ask how much to get there. I would never use the hotel's (ripoff) service again.

We used Backpacker's http://www.backpackerstravel.net/index.php?pid=20&id=43 for transfers between both airports. Reliable & efficient.
