Raileurope does not charge shipping or handling fees for all orders of $399 or more on their website.

But aren't most of their ticket and reservation prices already highly inflated?

Or are you just speaking of buying train passes which are pretty much the same price anywhere you buy them?

Well, if you've already determined that RailEurope is cheaper than point-to-point tickets or a combination of other country-specific pass options and are going to be spending that kind of money, swell....but if you haven't researched all the options you could find yourself paying the usual Raileurope ripoff prices.

This brings to mind those exchange offices at the front doors of jewelry stores in Europe advertising NO COMMISSION. After the rip-off exchange rate why would they need a commission?
