Train to Cinque Terre

I'm having trouble finding the correct trains for Florence-La Spezia, La Spezia-Rome on trenitalia.com. The routes are coming up as "No solution found."

Do I need to include Pisa in this?

Can someone assist with this?

(for the record, I am typing the correct station names and cities)

Thanks!

well maybe try the german website? also sometimes when I am checking on trips that are several months out I have encountered problems. You are using the Italian spelling? but rest assured, those trains do run!

Are you putting in dates too far in the future? Try something within the next 30 days that corresponds with the days of the week you are traveling.

If you are trying to actually buy the tickets online, rather than just check schedules, well that is a different set of problems all together.

Except this: if the dates you want are too far out, you won't be able to come close to purchasing tickets. If they are within the trenitalia published schedule time frame, well, as I said, that is a whole new set of difficulties.

I try to get the schedules to match as closely as I can, print them out, check them again closer to my departure, and then buy the tickets in Italy.

Hope that helps.

I which CT village you are going to stay..?If you know just put Firenze/Manarola or another village ,the date, the hour that you wish to depart.
After you have found the schedule that you like click Seleziona..

Toward the end of the page, at the right side, click "Dettagli per Selezioni" and it will give you the times and what kind of trains run that route..

Here is the schedule leaving the 13 of June from Florence..Usually the time of departure never change..

09:57
FI.SMN
FI.RIFR 12:19

SPEZIA 02:22 23353 9,10 € 9,10 €
10:27

for example:

Dettagli Viaggio Selezionato

Treno Partenza Arrivo Durata Servizi Info
3117 Firenze S. M. Novella 10:27 Pisa Centrale 11:31 02:11

606 Marconi Pisa Centrale 11:44 La Spezia Centrale 12:38
Legenda Treni Legenda Servizi
Regionale
ICplus
Posti a sedere di 1ª e 2ª classe
Buona Fortuna..
