Train connection time

Im booking a train from Barcelona to Toledo and it has a 45 minute connection time in Madrid. Is this enough time or what would be the minimal amount of connection time?

Even in a large busy station in general 45 minutes is long enough you can get lost, have a quick lunch and still be early.
