The same web site has links to shops that sell maps. By common accord the Harms maps are the best.

I bought excellent detailed maps of Crete ( one for the east side, the other for the west side) and of the Peloponesean Peninsula from www.road.gr before the trip. They mailed them to me from Greece and they were reasonable. The maps that the rental car companies gave us were terrible and we were so relieved to have the www.road.gr ones.

These are downloaded. You didn't mention if you wanted to buy maps or download them. "Does anyone know how to get a map that will show roads, sites?"

I think they were about 8E each. They were excellent maps and we never could have acheived what we did without them. They shipped them to us at a low cost and they arrived rather quickly.
