Going on a trip early July with Club ABC tours. Does anyone have any experience with this tour group? Would you recommend excursions such as Pompeii, Capri, Catacombs, Hadrians Villa, Vatican taken with the group, on own or not at all. Thanks for your help.

I have not taken ABC tours to Italy, but many friends of mine have. I did use ABC in the past and have enjoyed my trips to Paris/London, Aruba and Mexico. <BR>ABC seems to use good hotels in Italy. My friends visited Rome, Venice and Florence and really loved it. The tour is not fully escorted, you must make your own sightseeing trips, there is a representative from ABC to help with all of this. They do make suggestions. I have been told that Pompeii, Capri and the Vatican are definately something that should not be missed. I am taking a Colette tour to Italy in October. I chose them because they included the sights I wanted to see. I am sure you will enjoy your ABC tour.
