My friend and I are going to Europe in the summer of 2005 and we were curious about how long, if we were to take the EURAIL, it would take to go from: Berlin to Venice. From Venice to Rome?Rome to Paris? We want to make that [general] "loop" but we want to do it in the quickest way possible. Thank you for your responses! God bless.

I have no idea what you mean by "take the EURAIL". Is that supposed to be some sort of train? Eurail is a company that does train passes and books tickets. I don't know of any "Eurail" trains.
If you simply mean take a train, here is the best place to get your times and options:

Just be sure to use Venezia (then click Santa Lucia) rather than Venice. It is too early for schedules for after mid May -- but enter random dates in April and you'll find they were be quite accurate.

These are approximates, but from Berlin to Venice it will take about 11 1/2 hours with a stop in Munich. It would take you on the ICE train, about 5 1/2 hrs from Berlin to Munich, then another 7 hours from Munich to Venice Santa Lucia.
Venice to Rome takes 5 1/2 hours or 4 1/2 hours on the Eurostar Italia.
From Rome to Paris, you go through Milan, and it's a total of about 11 1/2 hrs: 4 1/2 hrs from Rome to Milan, then 7 hrs from Milan to Paris.
If you have a Eurail pass, which I assume you will from the Eurail comment, keep in mind that on some of these trains, you will have to pay a supplement or pay for a seat reservation in addition to the rail pass.
For what you want to do, I would urge you to invest in a Thomas Cook European Timetable so you can plot your itinerary. They come out monthly and in the US you can send away for it. You'll need the one for the period during which you'll be traveling, because the summer timetables are different from the other seasons (more trains). I'd get one for summer of 2004 (June or July edition should work), to practice plotting the distances and general times so you become familiar with it, then get the updated one before you travel.
