The Last Supper
Some time ago someone posted asking if the Last Supper is now open. I wanted to share our experience. We went to Milan just to see the Last Supper - the guidebooks mentioned long lines but not tickets. When we arrived we learned that tickets were sold out for the next two days, unfortunatly we had to leave Milan that day. We later heard from other travelers that tickets to see the Last Supper are sold out for the next two months. so find out in advance if you can buy tickets before you waste your time in Milan.

Hi Liz: Elaine posted the info you're looking for awhile back, it was in a New York Times article. At the top of this forum type-in last supper in the "Text search", click-on "Match Exact Phrase", click-on "Italy", and click-on "Find". Her post is the 4th titled "Tickets For The Last Supper". The phone # is 039 02 89421146 I remember a post in rec.travel.europe ~3months ago and posters were having a hard time getting reservations I *believe* they were getting a recording in Italian. They're letting in 25 people for 15mins, so at 100 per hour I assume tickets will be hard to come by. Good-Luck, Let us know how you make out. HTH Regards, Walter <BR>
