TGV First Class

What is the difference in price and comfort for First class vs. Coach on the TGV from Paris to Tours(St. Pierre de Corps). Thanks!

I don't know what the difference in price is (you can find out on www.sncf.com), but it's such a short trip to Tours, and the difference in comfort level on the TGV isn't THAT great, that I would opt for 2nd class.

Second the other person on second class to Tours. Personally I was disappointed a little on the TGV over all, and the additional price would not be worth it for short trip.

Plus if you book ahead in 2nd class, there's a chance of getting a good discount (Prem fare). No Prems in 1st class.

TPWAT,I agree with LVSue regarding the PREM fare.. I just returned from Paris this Tuesday.
I bought my PREM fare tickets in advance, from Avignon to Paris, for 25 dollars each. What a bargain!!The only catch is that, they are Not Refundable and also if you miss the train they are worthless.
