We've been using Hotel Viura in the Rioja Alavesa ever since it opened. El Portal de Echaurren has been at the top of our restaurant list for many years, and Francis Paniego's mother's restaurant next door isn't too bad itself.

C.V.N.E. is part of a great group of bodegas, including one of our favorites, Condino. Roda and López de Heredia are not to be missed.
