SPAIN airport to resort - HOW?!
Hi, we are pretty new to this so forgive us for any obvious errors or likewise! We are going on a family holiday to Spain at the end of October, but are a little lost as to how we should get from Valencia airport to Javea (the resort) when we arrive and then from Javea to Alicante a week later. We don't want to hire a car. We have looked at some taxi companies, but all become a little expensive as there are 5 of us so a minibus is required. The transfers need to be as simple as possible as one member of the party is not very well and gets tired very quickly. Trains, coaches? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!! Thank you, Emma.

i am afraid you don't have much choice for an easy transfer.
there is a public bus that will take you downtown valencia where you can catch another 2 taxis to go to bus station to go to javea, from which you can catch another two taxis to go to resort.
then you are onto the same fiasco for returning to alicante airport.
i believe renting a car will be less expensive for the entire stay than using these transfer services, and certainly moe convenient.there is a lot to see around javea area, and towards alicante, so if you can accept driving, you will get good use out of the car.
unless your resort can tell you a better idea, i live in valencia and do not know any easy way to get 5 people around anywhere.
if you must use taxi to bus station... ask for a taxi van. there are few around, but they exist.
look at www.renfe.es for possible train schedules to denia/javea.

The easiest move is to take a taxi van from the airport to Javea. Yes, I know, it's expensive ! but if you have someone in your party who gets tired very easily (as myself) is the most confortable thing to do.
You can take a bus from the airport to bus station and then a bus to Denia and then a taxi to Javea but , as you see, it involves changes and maybe it's not the best for your party.

Thank you guys! Lots to be looking at so will get cracking with that. Looks like the expensive option may be the easiest - as usual! Also, what will the weather be like end of oct, beginning nov? Thanks again, Emma.
