Semana Santa in Sevilla How much time is needed?

My daughter is currently studying abroad in Sevilla. She will be there for Easter week and is looking forward to Semana Santa. On the other hand she has been invited to travel with a friend for the beginnning of that week. She is not sure what to do. If she gets back to Sevilla by Holy Thursday is that giving her enough time for Semana Santa or should she stay in Sevilla for the whole week? Your thoughts will be appreciated.

The processions from Thursday night into Good Friday morning is the absolute highlight (the madrugá) of the Semana Santa celebrations. This should give you an idea of the "madrugá": http://sevillanlife.com/2012/04/08/h...na-la-madruga/
