rue des vertus, please some feedback on this street in paris

hello, my sister and our two teenage children are traveling to paris. Is this a safe area to be walking around in at night to our apartment. I have been researching, but want to hear first hand experience. thanks

That's by the Arts et Metiers metro - it's fine...about a block from Square du Temple, very nice small park.

thank you, we have the option of staying on rue cler, bourdannis in the 7th, out of curiosity which would be better? we have been to paris many times and only stayed in st. germain des pres.

Personally I think this location will be more interesting to teenagers than St. Germain or the 7th.
