Rick Steves' Tours?

I am thinking of selecting on of the Rick Steves' Tours (particularly Best of Italy Bus Plus) - I'm trying to track down individuals who have participated in prior Rick Steves' Tours and solicit their comments/opinions/reviews of their trips?

Is it good value? Pros/Cons?

Thanks!

Pam

We have friends who we just talked to last month. They went on an italy tour with Rick Steves and loved it. These are very fit people and youthful..said it was very physically active on the trip.

I don't know if we discussed the food but if they had any complaints we never heard it...only positive.

Did you read the feedback from tour participants at the Graffiti Wall on his web site - http://www.ricksteves.com ? Admittedly, it's his site so he could censor it, but it seems he allows all comments, and most all of them are positive.

thanks - I did read the reviews on Graffiti Wall - but I was looking for something a little more "independent".

pamelaca2002,

This forum is primarily independent travelers. There may not be much feedback.
