Restaurant recommendation for Latin Quarter Paris

We arrive Monday April 7 and will stay in Latin Quarter at Studio Hotel on St Germain Boulevard. I gather there are many tourist restaurants in that vicinity. We can go to other areas, but for the first night (after a concert from 5 to 7 pm at Elise St. Julian le Pauvre) we'd like to stay in the 5th arrondissement if there's a good restaurant there. Would appreciate any ideas. We will need to get reservations soon!

One of our very favorites is Le Petit Pontoise, a close walk from St. Julien.....very good food and a happy, cheerful place.....reservations will be necessary. Closed on Tuesday. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed Chez Ferdinand Christine on Rue Christine. Chez Rene is another old school favorite of ours on St. Germain Blvd.

Above two are good, but right there in the 5th is Les Papilles at 30 Rue Gay Lussac. It is tiny, and reservations are a must. Food is EXCELLENT at very good prices, lots of locals there. It was rather unknown on our first visit there some 15-20 years ago, and since then have had to make reservations earlier.

My Recommendation

Bouillon Racine has been by far the best restaurant I have been too in this area! would highly recommend.
Enjoy your trip
