I know, I know...technically Morocco is in Africa, but I'm trying to do it as part of a trip to Europe. From what European cities are there flights to Marrakech? My quickie Expedia searches have me going through London or Frankfurt, and I was sort of hoping for Spain. Figured somebody here has done the hop, skip, jump themselves.

Am hoping to bypass Tangiers, Cassablanca entirely.

Thanks for the almost instanteous help. Have been playing with the Royal Air Maroc website and have been coming up with all flights through Casablanca to get to Marrakech. Is that your experience? Has anyone been able to get to Marrakech directly? Has anyone dallied awhile in Spain or Portugal and then skipped over there?

I was also trying to get to Marrakech from a European hub and Air France has a good choice.

Most international flights go into Casablanca. From there you travel by road or there is an intra-country airline for flights to some Morrocan cities.

Make sure that you spend a little while in Casablanca to take the waters and to go to Rick's.

Oh Calamari: I started laughing when I saw your post because when my husband suggested I start researching Marrakech for spring break, all I could think of was Ab/Fab episodes!

There are daily Air France flights from Marseille to Marrakech, but you have to go through Casablanca.
