Recent GPS Users?

I did a search on the thread re using GPS devices and most of the threads are last year. Thinking of purchasing a GPS for our upcoming trip to France and to hold for Italy. Any recent users of a device they bought and took with them from the U.S.? What did you buy and why did you like it? Thanks everyone

We have a TomTom...it worked great both in France and Italy. But with all GPS it can have mini strokes at times....always had the map handy.

Looks like the model is 4V00.910 My husband got it in England but I went to my Best Buy in states and had them help me when I first got it....This is a couple of years old and I am sure they have newer models now but I would not hesitate to purchase again, it has always been reliable. Saved us for sure when we landed in Nice and was traveling to Torca in the dark.....

Thanks - I'll take a look at that one. Did see the Tom Tom 920 and a couple of posts on the Garmin Nuvi 370

Enjoy the weather now, right? Summer will be here before we know it! And then it will be HOT - I don't care what they say about the "dry heat"!
