Prague Train Stations

My train from Prague to Munich leaves from Prague hl. n.

Does this abbreviation mean Prague Hlavni Nadrazi which is the main train station?

I know there is also the Holosovice station.

I don't want to turn up at the wrong place.

Yes, and probably your train will make a stop at Praha-Smíchov station a few minutes later.

Yes indeed it does stp[ at Smichcov. I just checked the detailed listing of stops.
Quite a few for an express train, which does not sound like an express train.

The Smichov station is actually closer to my hotel. Could I go there to get on board??

It's not really an express train. It is just called an express train.

Yes, you can board at Praha-Smichov. Easily to navigate.

I made the 'mistake' of taking the "express" train from Rome to Milan. And believe me, there was nothing express about it. It actually took twice as long and went all over Italy. What should have taken three hours took between six and seven hours. Not a fun ride!!
