Possible Cabin Crew strike on BA
It has been reported today that "British Airways cabin crews have voted in favour of holding strikes over pay freezes and job cuts. Sky sources report that thousands of Unite members voted by 9 to 1 in favour of strike action.Unite will have to give seven days notice of strikes, so the first one could take place on December 21, at the start of one of the busiest weeks of the year for airlines."

The strikes are set to begin on 22 December and run until 2 January, and are expected to cause significant disruption over the Christmas period.
