Paris To Libourne, France
Greetings!
I will be travelling to Paris, France by 23 dec. and I need to be in Libourne same day, unfortunately, I can't book a ticket online because the train from Paris to Libourne no longer have ticket (so I was told on the RailEurope and other couple of sites i found). Does anyone know if I can get a ticket at the Rail station that same day? I was also told there is a possibility of getting a ticket on the train, how true is that? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you check www.voyages-sncf.com, the official French Rail website, you'll find that there are seats on the 18h46 TGV, Paris-Libourne, all other trains are sold out. Tickets can be booked online. 1st class is going for €117/each one-way, 2nd class €89/each. The trip takes 3h20.
You'll need to hurry. There are not many seats left.

No, you cannot get a ticket on the train. For the TGV you must have a reservation. You're going to pay a steep price for having waited this long to buy a ticket, and there are only a few seats left, so buy it online now! Don't use RailEurope - you'll pay a lot more for that. Use www.voyages-sncf.com and don't switch to English.
If you miss out on those last few tickets, you may be able to book a regular train to Limoges and switch to a TER train from there to Libourne.

Going through Limoges isn't going to work. There's a train from the Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris at 19:41 that you might be able to make, but no connection from Limoges to Libourne that would work until the next morning. I checked going through La Rochelle, too, and no go. Same for Angoulème.

The only direct train available on the 24th departs the station at 06h41. All the other trains are sold out.
You might want to consider renting a car at the airport and dropping it off in Libourne at the train station, but it's a long drive, and you would be making the trip late at night.
You could also spend the night in a hotel, if you can secure a ticket on the early train the next day, but again, seats are limited.
Air France has a direct flight on the 23rd, departing at 21h20 CDG-Bordeaux, about €280/one-way.

If you can catch the 19h41 train from Gare d'Austerlitz, you could still pick up a rental car in Limoges, or at one of the other stops, but the car should be booked in advance to make sure there is one available.

I can't imagine deplaning at 18:30 and being able to get on a train at the Gare Austerlitz at 18:41.
BUT, there's a TVG from CDG at 18:59 to Massy. It arrives in Massy at 20:03. You should be able to make both of those connections.
