I have seen several threads that refer to the Pariscope which I assume is a paris publication of sorts? <BR>Where do I look for it? Does it come in an english language version. Roughly what is the cost?<BR>Mike

You can find it at any newstand in Paris.They are small magazines like TimeOut.In the back is the English portion.Have no idea how much they are, but not much.

Two years ago it cost 7 francs, so now I think it will be 1 euro 10. It gives far the fullest cover of events in any magazine. In French, it is true, but the French for Rap is Rap, for Mozart is Mozart, for Art is Art and for Jazz is Jazz, so it is easy to steer within the magazine, and your hotelier can help on tricky points. With it you need yhe free bus map of Paris, which they offer at kiosks of RATP in front of big stations.<BR><BR>Ben Haines

Strange--last October it cost 3FF. You can "make out" things you want to know. It is predominately in French with a page or two in English.

It costs 40 cents. It's in french except for a 4-5 pages long selection at the end of the 200 pages or so booklet.<BR><BR>There's another extremely similar publication called "l'Officiel des spectacles"

And their selection of restaurants is to be ignored (not that they're necessarily bad, just that there's zero guarantee that they're good...I suppose they publish the adresses of restaurants which pay for it)
