katiem210, did you look at the list at the bottom for when it is available? If it is and you have any questions, let me know.

Patrick, that apartment looks sensational! I've bookmarked it. I know you love to eat out, but did you use the kitchen while there? Was it adequate at least for breakfast and maybe a dinner or two?

Yes. All we did was eat breakfast in every day. It has a small refrigerator, a small range, and a clothes washer (no dryer) in the kitchen. It's just big enough to turn around in. Oddly there are enough pots, pans, utensils, and dishes to serve a couple of major banquets, but I can't imagine doing any major cooking and prep work in there.

Thanks! Although I can't imagine cooking dinner in in Paris if I go for a week, I can imagine doing so if I go for a month!

NeoPatrick-
I notice the agency fee for Paris Attitude seems rather high...is this a normal rate, is it negotiable? Is the deposit negotiable? Let me know when you can. Thanks =)

Interesting. I've only rented there by the week (actually I think 10 days each time). Since the agency fee is included in shorter rentals I never thought about it, but yes it does sound high on a monthly rental, even though you'd be saving that amount compared to four weeks individual rental. And the deposit does sound high for a month (equal to the rent). In the past, they accepted a check for the deposit, which they never cashed but returned to me at the end. In fact, the second time I rented it I bypassed the agency and only dealt with the owners (a French couple who live in Cannes) and keep this for their own Paris getaway. I got a substantially reduced rate.

If you are really interested, let me know how I can send you the email for the owners if you want to deal with them directly.
