For example:
http://www.e-paris3eme.com/

Keep your eyes open for posters on the street and in the metro; they advertise special exhibits, fairs, grand hoo-has, etc.

I think probably the best overall site is simply the Paris Tourist Office www.paris-touristoffice.com, use can search all events by type and date. I don't know how good they are on special exhibits at the museums, I usually just look those up in Pariscope when I get there to plan my museums trips. The best source for those may be simply to go to the URLs of the major museums to see what they have. I have looked at www.culturekiosque.com from time to time as they have that kind of stuff, but it can be out of date and limited. Another very good site for events is the online Paris newsletter, www.metropoleparis.com -- go to the Scene column. It would be the one I'd suggest you look at first as it's very good. There will be a big exhibit opening at the Grand Palais on decorative arts during Louis XIII times, plus the Surrealist exhibition at the Pompidou, during May, among other stuff. (Scene is missing this week, look at last week's issue or maybe next week).
