No regrets

We are going on a cruise to Northern Europe
this June. The cruise offers many shore excurisions. Some are walking tours of the city and some just go to one destination and drive by a few others. My problem is that I don't want to miss the ones that are
the favorite of most travelers. We will be spending one day in Copenhagen,Amsterdam,Helsinki, and Stockholm.
Can anyone tell me what are a few places in each destination that are not to be miss. I want to make the best choices.
Thanks in advance.

I would buy a good guidebook on Northern Europe. They usually tell, for instance, "Places to see if you have only one day," and so on.

We have Fodor's Europe tour book which
covers each city. They site over 20 points of intrest per city but I am still intrested in hearing about the favorites of others.

grammie: My recommendation is that you re-post this with a title that makes even a tiny bit of sense. "No regrest" doesn't have anything to do w/ your questions.

I only opened it because I was curious what you weren't regretting.

try something like "Cruise stopping in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Stockholm. Suggestions for shore excursions?"

Of course that should be "No regrets" - but you get the idea . . . . .

I agree with Janis. Many people will pass by a thread with such a general title. If you post something more specific, then the people with knowledge about Scandinavia are much more likely to respond. Good luck.

Of all four cities, I've only been to Stockholm, and it's my favorite city in Europe. You'll probably arrive at the Stockholm Harbor, where you'll have an amazing view of the Stockholm water front. Right next to the water front is the old city which is really charming. Then you could just wander around this wonderful city, and regret not having at least one more week to spend in Stockholm !
