TERRY, People write complete books on just that topic---I do not think we have the time nor space here. It takes
about 6 weeks to see Italy. If you plan
to see the " Big Three" then that will
consume from 8 to 12 days counting the
transport between. How much time does
that leave you? Have you been to Tuscany
before? Have you driven in Europe before? What do you like most ? Do you
have a budget range in mind? Is natural
splendor more important than art and
culture to you? When are you going?

Lots of variables to consider. Italy is wonderful but you dare not bite off too
much at a time. You may want to contact
me directly for specifics. It really is
a complex topic--it depends on you, your
time, and your budget.

Terry: Just returned from Rome and Umbria. 2nd time to Rome-loved it even more than lst time!! So much to see. In
Umbria, we liked Spello and Orvieto. Rented car at Rome airport and drove for rest of trip--best way to do it (in my opinion), however, would never drive in Rome, much too crazy!!! If questions, e-mail me directly; I kept a journal and will try to answer questions. Have been to Florence and Venice on the previous trip. Regards.
