naples airport to Sant'Agata

We are arriving at Naples Airport on a Saturday 16.25 hrs in April. We want to travel by taxi to our holiday villa in Sant' Agata sui due Golfi. How do we book one beforehand - and would this be better than picking one up at the airport? Anyone know of any firms to use? There are 5 of us - 2 adults, 3 kids. Will there be a big enough taxi? Should we bring our own baby seat for toddler? Any ideas how much this would cost and should we book the return trip at the same time?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Not sure about taxis, expect you'd be better off hiring a private car and driver (possibly even less expensive) Try Renato Cuomo at www.cuomonet.it Explain your needs and he will provide you a price quote.

EM - Here are a few Sorrento-based drivers you could contact for a quote:

www.seesorrento.com (M.Maresca) ... [email protected]

www.tourofitaly.com (G.Gargiulo) ... [email protected]

www.cuomonet.it

www.sorrento.it (S.Astarita) ... [email protected] or [email protected]

Capodichino-Sorrento usually costs around € 80-100.00.
Sant'Agata would possibly add 10-20%

Hope this helps ...

Get a private driver with a minivan and ask for a baby seat. They'll provide it for you.

Thank you very much for all such quick replies. I have emailed 2 drivers for quotes and await their response. I may be coming back again with further questions as you are all so helpful! - and also will hopefully be sharing any successful experiences on our trip.

We used Giovanni Benvenuto. Email him at [email protected]. He will give you a price. We were very pleased with all he did for us. A driver picked us up at the airport in Naples and took us to our hotel. Later we had a driver and private guide for Pompeii. Then Giovanni drove us down the Amalfi coast to our hotel in Ravello and finally his father took us to the airport for our return. The business is family run as I guess are most of them.
Happy travels.
