my France weblog with pictures

I have a website that I developed for my K-3rd grade physical education students to share my monthlong trip to the 2004 Tour de France. Go to www.mrswalkergoestofrance.blogspot.com for a taste of France.

Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed your photos and I bet your class did too! Can you tell us more about your apartment in Paris?

Just a little correction: there are plenty of shopping centers in France with stores like WalMart and Home Depot; and supermarkets abound.

And you buy bread at a boulangerie - a patisserie is where you buy sinful little things that make you plump. But really, what wonderful pictures and what a great gift for your class!

amwosu, your site is delightful...all teachers should be this creative!

I'm sending it on to my daughter who spent a semester at the Sorbonne...she will love it as well!

Good job!

Thanks for the corrections. I was winging some of that text at 3am.

I do realize there are supermarkets. I shouldn't have said there are none. I guess the point I wanted to make is that there is not a Marsh, Kroger, IGA, Meijer, SuperTarget, and WalMart in every town like where I live in the midwest.

Enjoyed your website very much - thanks for sharing your wonderful trip. Congratulations on getting a grant for such a neat experience. It was so interesting to read about the Tour de France from someone who saw it firsthand! Your pictures were great!

Thanks for sharing your website. Great photos. I will have to go back and read the whole thing more thoroughly.

We are hoping to see the Tour coming into Paris next July. Our son is a huge Lance Armstrong fan. Did you just go to the Champs Elysees and try to claim a piece of sidewalk? Any tips would be appreciated.
