Money belts? ANy brand or type that you recommend?
Knock on wood, I have never had my money stollen. I dont nor have I ever carried around a purse. I have carry a wallet. After reading about pickpocketing on this forum and thorntree, I thought I might buy one. any brands or type to buy? Thank you.

I was thinking of buying my son a money belt for his trip this January. He is going to Thailand, India, Paris and NYC. I looked at Eagle Creek, great source!

We bought two different styles of money belts. One with a shoulder or wait band that can be tightened to fit the other one is like a man's pant pocket and it has a loop that slips over the belt so it hangs inside the pants. The one with the strap is great to put around your waist then tuck in like a shirt tail. If you do have to get into it you can just turn your back, slip it out to get inside then tuck it back in. The other one requires you to open your pants to get to the pocket. They are both very comfortable (depending I suppose on what you put in them) and you will forget you have them on.

I like the one we got from Rick Steves (RickSteves.com) and will probably order one for my husband and one for my daughter for our upcoming trips to Europe, but I'll probably compare with Eaglecreek as well.
