Cyprus is a place recommended for a longer stay in the winter months..say Jan,Feb,Mar...in your opinion, would this be do-able or would we go "stir-crazy"..is there stuff to do? any thoughts?

Cyprus is a (sunny) island in the East Mediterranean not far from Turkey. It is as least an hour and a half flight from Greece.
Landscapes can be very "dry" with rocks and cliffs and you often find small bays for a nice swim in the sea.
The Troodos mountains in the center of the island are also quite nice for walks and offer some fresh air when it gets too hot.
Regarding winter months, I have been told they are rather mild. I know that many British tourists enjoy Cyprus during winter time.
We went end of May and flowers were blossoming everywhere. That was nice.

There's masses to do in Cyprus. It's a big country. Lot's of English language entertainment. It's mild but not roasting in winter
